We combine the credential and privilege of U.S. Big Law, the business judgment and pragmatism of the C-suite, and the on-the-ground orchestration and access of strategic advisory.

Representative Matters

Landmark matters across the Americas.

We’ve been in the room and on the ground for some of the most transformative matters of the last two decades, across the sectors that will define the region’s future.

Energy & Natural Resources

The IEA projects data centres will consume more electricity than Japan does today by 2030. LatAm’s resources are pivotal to advancing AI, fueling economic growth, and meeting global energy demand. Reactivation is imminent.

Matters include a USD 80 million notes offering for Gran Colombia Gold (TSX), the amendment of a USD 350 million credit facility and stakeholder engagement for Pacific Rubiales (TSX), and public policy strategy for GASNOVA, Colombia’s LPG trade association.

Infrastructure, Ports & Logistics

The IDB estimates LatAm’s infrastructure needs at USD 2.2 trillion this decade. Building at scale will run through strategic acquisitions, concession contracts, project finance, and community engagement to deliver durable public goods.

Engagements include country positioning and stakeholder work for A.P. Møller-Maersk, country entry for APM Terminals through M&A to operate terminals in Cartagena and Buenaventura, and concession contract extensions in Buenaventura and Santa Marta.

Media & Technology

Just as the smartphone sparked LatAm’s USD 600 billion mobile economy, AI adoption will reshape the economy. The connectivity gap tied to this shift is priced at USD 300 billion by the IDB. Consolidation and disruption are on the doorstep.

Engagements include a three-year M&A process to create Millicom’s integrated USD 2 billion fixed-mobile provider, the launch of Internet.org with Facebook, and stakeholder strategy on the contested USD 1 billion sale of ETB by the District of Bogotá.

Sports & Entertainment

LatAm talent has gone global, with football tournaments and transfers breaking records, artists topping charts, and producers making streaming hits. The world has taken notice, and the deals turn on cross-border architecture of rights and governance.

Experience includes strategic advisory to CONMEBOL on post-crisis institutional and tournament reform and repositioning, enabling the tender of assets for USD 1.4 billion, counsel to MLS on IP and licensing, and the structuring of tax credit investments in film.

Life Sciences & Regulated Products

As people live longer and healthier lives, nutraceuticals will surpass USD 1 trillion in sales within a decade. LatAm holds 40% of the world’s biodiversity, a pipeline of new active ingredients for cosmetics, food, supplements, and drugs, all highly regulated.

Experience includes serving as General Counsel of NatuEra, a biopharmaceutical joint venture with The Cronos Group (NASDAQ: CRON), obtaining U.S. GMP certification for a dietary supplements facility, and leading policy reforms that opened novel food export categories valued at over USD 10 billion.

Financial Services & Digital Assets

LatAm finance is digitizing end to end, from neobanking and digital payments to crypto and fractional investing. With cross-border flows above USD 170 billion a year moving to new rails, traditional compliance architecture is being tested.

Recent engagements include regulatory and compliance work for an offshore digital-asset fund, and the multi-jurisdictional structuring of cross-border proptech payment ventures across the U.S., Europe, and LatAm.
